Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

JS Tech Installations Limited ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, the legal basis we rely on, who we share it with, how long we keep it and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

In short
  • We only collect what you choose to send us through our enquiry forms, plus the technical data any website needs to work and stay secure.
  • We use your details to reply to your enquiry. We never sell them or use them for marketing you have not asked for.
  • This website has no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. LinkedIn content on our News page only loads if you allow it.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected].

Who we are

JS Tech Installations Limited is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 17306254.

For any questions about this policy or your data, email [email protected] or call 07480 040450.

What data we collect

When you send an enquiry. Our enquiry and quote forms ask for your name, email address and a message, and optionally your company name and phone number. Along with your message we record which form you used, the page you sent it from and the date and time, so we know what you were looking at when you got in touch.

When you contact us directly. If you phone, email or message us on LinkedIn, we keep the details you give us in the same way as a form enquiry.

When you visit the website. Like every website, our hosting provider automatically receives technical information when pages load, such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages requested. We do not use this to identify you.

When you use a form. To block spam, our forms run a security check (Cloudflare Turnstile, explained below) that looks at technical signals from your browser and device.

We do not collect payment details through this website, and we do not knowingly collect any special category data. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website and receive your enquiries. Where they act as our data processors, they may only use your data on our instructions.

Cloudflare hosts this website (Cloudflare Pages) and runs the code that receives your form and passes it to our inbox. Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to serve the site and protect it from attacks. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Cloudflare Turnstile is the security check on our forms. It usually runs invisibly and only loads once you start using a form. It checks signals such as your IP address, browser and device to tell people apart from automated bots. Cloudflare states that these signals are strictly necessary for detecting and blocking bots, and are not used to identify, profile or target individuals. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum.

Resend (resend.com) delivers your enquiry to our inbox by email. Resend processes the message in its EU (Ireland) region and keeps delivery records for a limited period. See resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Our business email provider stores the enquiry emails we receive and our replies to you.

Unsplash serves some of the background photos on this website. Its image servers receive your IP address and browser details in order to deliver the image. No cookies are set. See unsplash.com/privacy.

LinkedIn provides the posts shown on our News page, but only if you allow them to load (see Cookies). Links to our LinkedIn page elsewhere on the site are ordinary links and share nothing until you click them.

The fonts on this website are hosted on our own site, so no data is sent to font providers such as Google Fonts.

We may also share data with our professional advisers (such as our accountant), or where we are required to by law, for example in response to a lawful request from a court or regulator.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not set any cookies of its own. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from automated attacks. This does not need your consent.

News page. Our News page shows posts from our LinkedIn page. When you open that page we ask whether you accept cookies. Nothing is loaded from LinkedIn unless you click "Accept", or click "Load LinkedIn posts" on a post, which loads them for that visit only. If you allow them, LinkedIn may set cookies and collect data about your visit under its own privacy policy and cookie policy.

Remembering your choice. We store your accept or reject choice in your browser's local storage for 6 months so we do not ask on every visit. It stays on your device and is not sent to us or anyone else.

Changing your mind. Use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the News page at any time. You can also clear cookies already set by LinkedIn in your browser settings.

Automated checks

The Turnstile security check is automated. If it decides a submission looks like it comes from a bot, the form will not send. This has no other effect on you. If you have any trouble sending a form, call us on 07480 040450 or email [email protected] instead. We do not make any other automated decisions about you.

International transfers

Some of our service providers, including Cloudflare, Resend, Unsplash and LinkedIn, are based outside the UK or have parent companies in the United States, so your data may be transferred or accessed outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, so your data continues to receive an appropriate level of protection.

To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. There is usually no charge. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Keeping your data secure

This website is served over HTTPS with modern security headers. Enquiries are passed straight from the website to our inbox over encrypted connections and are not stored in a separate website database. Our forms are protected against spam and automated abuse. Access to enquiries is limited to the people at JS Tech Installations who need it to respond to you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add a new service to our website. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
